With 30+ years in the hotel business Richard has served over 4 million guests in the Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale areas of south Florida as a hotel executive! Merahs Diab – Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Diab has more than 15 years of experience and a broad understanding of hotel management, operational efficiencies, team effectiveness training, and sales and marketing. His experience spans over 7 regions including USA, Mexico, El Salvador, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain and the Middle East.
Over his career, Merahs perfected the art of hotel operations and yield management successfully turning around several distressed properties at times increasing annual revenue by 166%, RevPar by 88%, ADR by 120% and occupancy by 69%.
Merahs holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from George Mason University and an MBA from the University of Miami, a top 50 school worldwide. He is a frequent guest speaker on various topics related to operations management and organizational behavior at the University of Miami and the Florida International University school of hospitality and tourism. He has been featured in the prestigious National Treasures publication, The Best of South Florida program airing on Fox, has received the “Global Who’s Who Award 2010,” for excellence in his field, and has authored numerous works on, hotel operation theory, hotel revenue theory, organizational efficiency, marketing, and business decision making.
Jasmin Herazo – Revenue, Reservations & Guest Satisfaction Manager
With over 15 years in the hotel / resort industry, Jasmin has established herself as one of the true forces of yield management today. Having worked with Founder, Richard Evans from 2003 to 2009 in optimizing revenues for 3 resorts on Miami Beach, she was directly responsible for increasing revenues, two and three fold; in down markets. She brings her talents and positive energy to Sand Castles Miami Beach, LLC where for the first time a Vacation Rental company will offer inventory on some of the large “On Line Travel Agent” websites.

From a long line of hoteliers, Dan adds another dimension to the Sand Castles Sales & Marketing team. Well beyond his years he played a vital role in establishing an effective Social Media program at the Doral Arrowwood in White Plains, New York and now brings his energy and enthusiasm to South Beach, Florida in joining us.
