The Marenas is the perfect family getaway, with one bedroom suites that can accommodate up to 4 adults. Each apartment has a master bed room with a queen sized bed, duvet cover and imported goose feather pillows plus a queen sized pull out couch in the living area. The spacious “full kitchen” will be appreciated if you choose to dine in with all the utensils, pots and pans needed. Food shopping is close at hand with plenty of stores, shops and cafe’s throughout Sunny Isles.

The Marenas provides elegant dining that is located in the rear of the lobby; where you’ll enjoy natural light provided by 20 foot high floor to ceiling windows. Step out to the restaurant terrace (overlooking the pool and Jacuzzi) for waiter service with an ocean breeze and view. It’s all an elevator ride to the first floor for delectable dishes right on the property. Our poolside tiki-bar serves frozen drinks and sandwiches so that you can enjoy a casual meal in your bathing suit. Private seating is also available on the sandy beach with seaside service.

Aventura (and the world famous Aventura Mall and shops are 5 minutes for the hotel) is just over the William Lehman Causeway…. you can walk over. Whether you enjoy a leisurely stroll or a jog, bicycle ride or rollerblading around “the Aventura Circle” (3 mile circumference); it’s the perfect area to start the day with a warm up in a popular and beautiful area.

South Beach (SOBe) is a 20-minute car ride south and you’ll quickly be in the heart of the world famous Art Deco District. Stop at Bal Harbour open-air mall and shops (also exceptional for upscale shopping and dining) before arriving “at the gates” of the historic district – from 25th to 1st Street. Joe’s Stone Crab, The News Cafe and Van Dyke Cafe await you.

Ten minutes west is the newly constructed “Gulfstream Village” where you can enjoy horse racing (in season), gambling year round and the many upscale shops and restaurants there. My personal favorites are BRIO (where the beef carpaccio is a meal unto itself) and PLAYWRIGHTS, a real Irish Pub that overlooks the paddock! As the horses are paraded out before each race, have a cold beer and you can even place bets on the race… right at your table!
Boca Raton is 30-minute trip north; and here too you can shop, enjoy upscale cuisine and enjoy this growing community for the day!
